Welcome to the Technology Innovation and Engineering Education unit, where we integrate cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking educational practices to fuel innovation and academic growth. As the Head of the TIEE Unit, I am proud to lead an ambitious team that continuously strives to push the boundaries of what is possible in engineering education and research.
We believe in empowering students and faculty alike to turn ideas into reality, whether through groundbreaking research, hands-on learning experiences, or interdisciplinary collaboration. Our unit plays a pivotal role in supporting the College of Engineering by providing the resources and frameworks necessary to foster creativity, technological advancement, and educational excellence.
Our key focus areas include:
Delivering a dynamic General Engineering program that offers six courses every semester, equipping students with essential skills and knowledge needed for tomorrow’s challenges.
Facilitating research initiatives that drive innovation in fields such as engineering education, technology-enhanced learning, and innovation management. We work closely with faculty and industry partners to develop solutions that address both national and regional needs.
Encouraging entrepreneurship and multidisciplinary approaches to problem solving, ensuring that our students and researchers are well prepared to meet the demands of an ever-changing technological landscape.
Our commitment to fostering a collaborative environment extends beyond the classroom. Through our partnerships with other departments, research centers, and industry leaders, we are laying the foundation for a future where technology and education not only serve academic purposes but also contribute directly to societal development.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the projects and programs we are developing to further strengthen our impact. These include expanding our research capabilities, launching new initiatives that support student-driven innovation, and enhancing our engagement with the local and international engineering communities.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We look forward to your engagement with our programs and initiatives, and we invite you to be a part of our journey towards excellence and innovation.
